But the reality is, a lot of the plumbing issues you experience are probably minor and essential. It is something that you can fix on your own all you need is a little bit of knowledge and the primary supplies to get the job done.

There are no preventive measures that you can do to stop it from happening, you can probably try to delay it from happening by taking care of it better. But it will be best to try to anticipate that this will happen so you can prepare and fix it right away. Some issues are best if you call a plumber, but if you feel that it is a minor problem, it will be more cost efficient if you take it upon yourself to have it fixed.

Propane Torch is great if you need to melt things together or if you need to sweat copper pipe and fittings. It is much easier and convenient to use compared to using a lighter or a match. There is a self-igniting torch end that is highly recommended, you are able to light the torch with a simple press of the trigger. You can buy this for $40 and the good thing about this is that torches are refillable, all you need to do is take care of the torch itself.

Tongue And Groove Pliers are a go to tools for every plumber. This tool is used to tighten the loose pipes you may be experiencing or pull out something that may be stuck in the pipe systems. There are two standard sizes that you need which is a 10-incher and a 12-incher.

Hacksaw is a vertical saw that you can saw through a metal pipe and even plastic pipes. Check if the blade is firm and durable in the frame for cuts that may be difficult to do. You can also buy extra blades that you can replace if ever the blade breaks or has become stale. To add extra grip, you can wrap the handle with a cloth so you can have better control of the saw.

Metal File is a tool used for finishing touches of a metal pipe that has been newly cut. This is important because you will be able to smoothen the rough edges around the pipe. These rough edges can give you cuts and wounds if you do not remove them. There are two kinds of metal files, first is the half-round and the rat-rail file.
